Berenike (or actually Nike, as she prefers) Larrá started her studies in the summer semester of 2007. Because of her big interest in the English language and the advantage of having a Spanish parent, she decided to study English and Spanish. Curiously, she never liked English at school but learned to love the language by translating texts she was interested in into German (it became like a hobby). Sometimes she would translate episodes of her favorite TV shows. Shows are a slight obsession of hers.
That hobby of translating stopped, though, because Nike did not have time for it anymore. Being on stage replaced it. For the last nine years she has been acting and singing in six different musicals, among them „Hair“ and „Jekyll and Hyde“. 4 years ago Nike joined the English Drama Group and has participated in five plays so far. Her favorite part has been Number 5 in „12 Angry Men“. Unfortunately, she could not take a part in „Macbeth“ because she spent a year in the United States.
Apart from theater, most of her time is consumed by her horses. Nike has been doing horse-back riding for 14 years now and it has become a real passion. Hopefully, she will be able to have a horse of her own as soon as possible.
Nike was born in Trier in 1988 where she still lives with her parents. She went to Max-Planck-Gymnasium where she discovered her love for being on stage.
