Anna WeinandAnna is a student of French, Spanish and English at the University of Trier. After studying law for two semesters she quickly decided to change the subject and dedicate herself to foreign languages in October 2009.

Anna joined Trier English Drama in September 2011. After she’d watched „The Importance of being Ernest“ she absolutely wanted to join TED and was very happy to be a part of the gang. Before her times in Trier English Drama Anna was part of „Freie Bühne Neuwied“ where she performed above all plays for teenagers with serious topics such as violence, peer group pressure and bullying (Morton Rhue’s „The Wave“ about an experiment on how fascism evolves; and his novel „Give A Boy A Gun“ about a school shooting).

Her first appearance with Trier English Drama was in „Northanger Abbey“. Afterwards she played Juror Number 11 in „Twelve Angry Men“ and had the wonderful opportunity to play a part that is probably hardly ever played by a woman, namely the part of Macbeth in Shakespeare’s famous Scottish Play.

When Anna is not acting or learning a language, she loves to read, play the guitar or paint. And whenever she can afford it Anna is travelling as far as she can and as long as she can.
